It’s Blitz!, the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album is good. Really good. Easily their best, in my opinion. In fact, good enough to inspire a mix in honour of the word yeah. Yeah is more than just a simple affirmation. Consider it a state of mind. Be like Jim Carrey, say yeah to things. I haven’t seen the movie, but I assume it resulted in good things and had a happy ending. There’s my philosophy for the day. Enjoy.

— dona, March 12, 2009I’ve only heard the first two songs, but so far I don’t agree with the internet’s consensus that this album is awesome. It seems like they tried to make a Depeche Mode album, but ended up making a Katy Perry album. I may be wrong, I’ll check out the rest soon.
— Daniel, March 12, 2009Frickin Finally Kevin!!!! I have been checking back for this post for a while now buddy
— Nolan, March 13, 2009Thank you Nolan, I am glad you appreciate my entirely original post/mix which I came up with completely on my own with no outside interference. Yep.
— Kevin, March 14, 2009About time Brand New got some Ca Va love. Devil and God was a masterpiece, an opinion which makes me unabashedly emo.
— David, March 15, 2009No need to be ashamed, it’s a solid album. Millstone in particular. Definitely a change from Deja Entendu, probably for the better.
The emo tag is so watered down and meaningless these days. If it’s good, I’ll listen to it.
I´m inclined to agree with Dan on this one. “Zero” has grown on me, but I don´t love it the way I loved old Yeah Yeah Yeahs. It doesn´t seem as edgy.
— BdriD, March 18, 2009Anybody remember ‘Our Time’ on the first EP? That was were it was at.
— Daniel, March 18, 2009^^^agreed.
